Being a veteran of fancy cooking. Mike has worked for many years for the famous Hilton Hotels franchise across Canada. Cooking elegant and extravagant menus year after year.
Cooking as a sous-chef in one of Montreal’s most famous & oldest steak houses in the Old Port of the city “Gibbys”.
1994
Migrating to San Fran…
With the hopes of graduating from its culinary school and opening his own restaurant one day.
Mike is quick to discover having all the skills and the know-how is no match to paying tuition at a world-renown culinary school.
So on to the next project…
2018
Finding the hole in the wall TREASURE…
In the search of a perfect venue, stumbling across a neglected Halal Market in Seaside that was up for grab, he jumped to the chance.
The gratifying accomplishment in removing the for sale sign and restocking the shelves started the dream…
2022
And here we are now.
A Halal Market with fully stocked shelves with a small succulent menu with the true flavor of the middle east.

I had a craving for falafel and Mediterranean flavors which is how I found myself here.
I ordered the falafel platter and the beef and lamb platter. The portions are huge and the gyro meat tasted good…
I did get to buy some delicious and fresh bread that came in today so that made me pretty happy.
